Please take a minute and sign up for the petition, using the contact form above. Your email and name will only be used for our company petition and business, not given out to anyone else. If you like, tell us how you heard about Comet Water (TM), where you would like to see it for sale or anything you want to share with us. We look forward to hearing from you!

Here's the story:

We met with the beverage buyers at UCLA. They are very interested in Comet Water (TM). But,
we are up against some big companies as competitors who have domination over the stores and their budgets. The UCLA buyers said they will carry Comet Water's 100% Previously Recycled Water Bottles if we can show support from the students and staff. If we show you care it will be available on campus.

We will be on Bruin walk with a petition to sign.

We can also accept a message from this page with your name and email. We will add it to the petition.

We would love to meet with anyone on campus.
We can be a part of any event, class, club or meeting.

If you want to help and get involved in this important cause, contact us and let us know. Thanks so much!

This literally is a grass roots effort to bring what could and should be an obvious new product to people that care.
With your help we CAN make a difference!

This is the cooler at the Ackerman store right now.
NOT ONE of these waters is in a recycled bottle.
They are ALL new plastic.

Get involved and make a space for Comet Water (TM) on this shelf.

These are the recycling cans that you see all over the UCLA campus. It's a great start from a campus that cares. Let's make great use of this network by having a truly sustainable water bottle product that will come back around again and again.
Plastic that recycles like glass.
It's about time!

A note about canteens, BPA and the general stigma attached to plastic water bottles:

Here at Comet Water, we are not against canteens or any type of re-usable water bottle or container.
Believe it, we support any method that educates people and keeps new plastics from harming the planet.

Unfortunately, because of a combination of big business greed and environmental misinformation, water bottles came under fire in a time before Comet Water.

It was a perfect storm that really only led to people and the planet losing out. It went like this...

BPA was found to be in some plastics that were used in the food industry. Ironically, it was NEVER in single use plastic water bottles. It was actually in the harder plastics used in baby bottles and PLASTIC CANTEENS!
Environmental groups got a hold of this information and used it to fight against the beverage giants. These giants were also guilty in that they seemed only concerned with profits and not educating people on recycling or making use of recycled plastics. The large companies also took water from some areas without regard to economy or resources. Some also flew water all around the globe, adding to an image of lack of concern for carbon emissions and footprint.

The truth is this:

Bottled water should be available along with other beverages for a consumer to choose from. An eco-conscious consumer can use a canteen or re-usable bottle when it makes sense. However, a water such as Comet Water should always be available so you can enjoy the benefits of drinking water when you need to buy it in that form, for whatever reason. Water should stabilize to a proportionate segment of the beverage economy without the guilt, as long as it does so by utilizing the advancements of previously recycled materials and water sourced locally.

We advocate re-using your Comet Water bottle a few times as a canteen of sorts. When it's time, just make sure to recycle it. We truly hope this information can level the field and make for a healthy body and planet.
